Cookies and privacy choices

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Cookies and similar technologies help operate this Shopify store. Some are needed for checkout, security, sessions and remembering privacy choices. Others can support analytics, personalisation or advertising. The exact technologies depend on Shopify, installed services, the features used and your choices.

1. Essential functions

Where a technology is strictly necessary to provide a service you request, such as keeping a cart or protecting a checkout, it may operate without optional cookie consent where the law permits. Blocking all storage in your browser can affect these functions.

2. Optional tracking

Where consent is required, optional analytics, advertising and similar tracking must wait for an affirmative choice. You should be able to accept optional cookies, reject them or choose categories through the privacy controls. Declining optional tracking must not prevent an ordinary purchase.

A privacy policy is information, not a consent mechanism. Closing a banner, browsing or buying does not by itself establish valid optional consent. We do not add diagnosis or topic-finder choices to advertising audiences. This policy does not represent that every platform feature is disabled.

3. Change your choice

Use the store’s cookie/privacy controls when displayed, or the cookie-preferences link supplied by Shopify where available. You can also control storage in your browser. Withdrawing optional consent affects future use; it does not make earlier lawful use unlawful. Contact howtodealwithpain@gmail.com if a control is unavailable or you believe a choice is not respected.

For applicable US privacy rights, use Your privacy choices / data-sharing opt-out. Shopify may also respond to supported browser opt-out signals where applicable. Its own privacy portal covers Shopify-controlled processing.

4. Platform information

Shopify describes its cookie technologies and processing in its Cookie Policy and Consumer Privacy Policy. Third-party services can have separate storage and expiry periods. Cookie settings must reflect the services actually active, rather than a generic list of invented cookies.

5. Questions

For the identity of the business, purposes, recipients and rights relating to personal information, read our Privacy Policy. Send questions to howtodealwithpain@gmail.com.
